Low flour/Flour made out of durum wheat.
It is a flour that results from the semolina production process. When milling the durum wheat all the particles smaller than 180m are taken out and they are used to produce this flour.
The yellowish colour -characteristic of durum wheat- stands out and it is used basically as excipient for the production of other products and other non food-stuff uses.
Wheat germ.
Wheat germ is the embryo of the wheat seed, located in one of the extremes of the kernel. Most of the germ can be divided from the rest of the wheat during the milling process by using appropriate sieves.
The main property of the germ is its high content in vitamins, minerals and oil, being a very appreciated product by dieticians and nutrition experts. It is also used in the production of special breads and other products based on grains. The germ properties are also very appreciated in the cosmetic industry.
Broken Wheat.
Broken kernels from durum wheat, divided from whole grains during the wheat cleaning and conditioning process before proceeding to its milling. They are used essentially for non food-stuff industrial purposes, such as the production of rat poisons.
